Redesigning Sales.AI for People.AI
Balancing clarity and depth, transforming how users navigate and engage with content
PROJECT OVERVIEW
As a freelance designer, People.AI entrusted me with an engaging project: to reimagine the Sales.AI website. The project's heart lay in amplifying the educational aspect of automation, steering away from direct sales pitches to instead equip users with resources for advancement. A pivotal goal was to craft a distinct aesthetic from the main People.AI site, offering a fresh perspective while maintaining a subtle link to the brand.

OBJECTIVES
Sales.AI initially lacked distinct branding or a defined aesthetic. The primary tasks were to establish a visual identity, set the website's purpose, and decide on a thematic direction. We aimed to create a visual connection to People.AI, yet forge a unique identity for Sales.AI.
INITIAL RESEARCH
The journey began with deep dives into the team's vision for Sales.AI, involving detailed discussions and mood boards to sketch a preliminary style. This phase culminated in three hero image concepts, laying the groundwork for the website’s visual direction.
ROUND 1 - CONCEPTUALIZATION
This phase aimed to solidify the website’s conceptual framework, focusing on presenting information in an accessible format. We explored different layouts and section placements, providing the team with a clear vision for content integration and messaging alignment. Here's a sample layout displayed to initiate dialogue.
ROUND 2 - REFINMENT
With consensus on the hero image, my focus shifted to refining the layout and introducing stylistic elements to differentiate automation levels, utilizing color schemes and gradients to denote distinction.
FINAL ROUND- POLISHING
The final phases involved finalizing wireframes for developer handoff and compiling comprehensive guidelines, including consistent heading sizes and character counts for each section, ensuring a smooth transition from design to development.
